So I finished a dress. I've had this material for almost a year, so I'm really glad I finally did something with it. There were 2 firsts in this dress: sleeves and a zipper. I think I did both fairly well and I'm excited about it. I've been in a sewing mood lately. I made a blanket for my cousin's brand new baby girl and I've been on a mild material binge. My birthday package of fabric should be arriving soon, my Mom ordered it a wee bit late, and I can't wait.
Another person from Austin moved here, so maybe we'll hang out with him and some of the other random Austin people that are up here and then I could conceivably have some friends, even if they are all architects. Travis comes up in April for a visit and I'm going to Texas in May and I actually get to go to Wendy's wedding, I'm so glad it worked out that way. Other than that, I think that'll do it. The sun is shining.
